Yep, that's right. After spending four months on a world tour, including China, South America and Australia, Architects will be reissuing 'Daybreaker' with some brand new material on June 11th (in the US). The album will feature brand new single Black Blood, and two covers: Of Dust and Nations by Thrice and Blood Bank by Bon Iver.
With regards to the new single and reissue, Tom Searle, guitarist, says: "We've
always released songs between albums basically just to keep our set
fresh! We did it first with We're All Alone, then with Devil's Island
and now with our new single Black Blood. We also recorded a cover of
Bon Iver's Blood Bank and Thrice's Of Dust And Nations. They're
going to be available in the US on June 11th, just before our long
summer on the Vans Warped Tour but unfortunately our label don't deem it
worthwhile for a release anywhere else. Not even in UK before our
appearance on the mainstage at Download Festival. They won't even
release it digitally. Anywhere. So - after the songs are released on
June 11th - if anyone happens to find the song in their possession and
they accidentally upload it and share a link on their facebook or
twitter etc......well - lets just say we won't be pressing charges."
The band will be holding their '100 Days' film premier on June 8th at the Duke of Yorks @ Komedia on Jubilee Street, Brighton at 4pm.
They'll also be playing main stage at Download Festival on June 14th.
