Slam Dunk first announcement!

In 2016, Slam Dunk will be celebrating its 10th anniversary, and it's guaranteed to be a good one.

Panic! at the Disco have been announced as the first headliners, and they've just celebrated an anniversary, too - 10 years since the release of 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out'. With their new album, 'Death of a Bachelor' due out on 15th January, their set will be one to watch. Front man Brendan Urie says "It’s awesome, it’s fucking cool, and I’m very excited. We haven’t actually played it before, but we have friends who have, and have heard it’s awesome! And sure, there’s a little bit of pressure, I’m not gonna lie!"

Along with the massive headliners, it's been announced that Of Mice & Men, New Found Glory, Four Year Strong, Every Time I Die, Issues, Memphis May Fire and Real Friends will all be playing the festival.

2016 also marks the move of the Midlands venue - rather than taking place in Wolverhampton City Centre, the festival is moving to the NEC in Birmingham. This is great news for us (!!), but also for fans who'll be travelling from further afield - the Genting Arena is the best connected venue in the UK, boasting an onsite airport and train station.
